Birdie rattle is made using traditional lacware toy making techniques and coloured using natural dyes. Our toys are 100% natural, meaning that they are a much safer choice for kids to play with. As all parents know, there isn’t much that escapes the mouths of toddlers and young children!
These materials are also much kinder to our environment. This is one of our range of handmade non-toxic wooden toys handcrafted by artisans. These artisans use traditional earth friendly techniques that have been passed down from one generation to the next for over 200 years!
These eco-friendly toys are crafted using sustainably grown wood and are also coloured with natural non-toxic dyes. These are derived from plant-based sources such as turmeric, indigo, acacia tree extract etc mixed with lac – a natural resin.
