Hello, I'm Alison, the person behind LotsofKnottsMacrame. I live in the North East of Scotland and I started up in 2020 as a self taught macrame artist, I have really enjoyed learning a new skill and getting creative with different fibres and textiles. I create macrame rainbows which are my best seller, they can be personalised with a name and they are great idea for a handmade new baby gifts or as 1st birthday gifts, as well as making great nursery decorations. I also create smaller items such as macrame keyrings and coasters and seasonal decor. This year I plan to make some bigger wall hanging pieces and I always welcome custom orders, so if you have a vision for some home decor then please do get in touch! I try to focus on sustainability and create decor and gifts from recycled cotton cord and other textiles that would otherwise go to waste, all my packaging is also fully recyclable.
