Welcome to HDMakes - my little creative corner of the internet.
I'm Heidi - the woman behind HDMakes. I am a textile fibre artist and illustrator from the UK. Currently residing in Portsmouth, on the South Coast of England, a lot of my inspiration comes from the sea and nature. I'm always looking for a way to expand my creativity - so I make a lot of different crochet products. I design a lot of my own patterns and love experimenting with different crochet designs.
I decided to turn my creative passions into a business this year after 8 years of crocheting and a lifetime of drawing. You can often find me at local craft shows in Hampshire.
